Central Maryland Chapter

Cyberstanc is excited to announce its upcoming collaboration with the Maryland Tech Council (MTC) and the Central Maryland Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). This is the second time that Cyberstanc will be working with MTC organizations, and we are eager to continue this partnership and support the growth of the technology and life sciences industries in Maryland.

The Maryland Tech Council is a premier organization that works to build strong technology and life science industries by supporting its individual members. As the largest technology and life sciences trade association in Maryland, the MTC provides its members with a forum to learn, share, and connect with industry leaders and experts.

As a member of the MTC, Cyberstanc has access to a variety of valuable benefits and resources. Members are provided with educational programming focused on key topics, advocacy at the state and national levels, and opportunities to participate in events of all sizes. In addition, members have access to the Cost Savings Program, which offers discounts on business services from reputable companies.

One of the standout programs offered by the MTC is its Venture Mentoring Services. In just three years, the program has grown to include 45 ventures, with a third of those ventures owned by program participants. The program has also raised $55.1 million in capital and grants for its ventures, with over 13,300 volunteer hours and 250 mentor team meetings.

Cyberstanc is proud to be a part of the Maryland Tech Council and the Central Maryland Chapter of the ISSA, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with these organizations to support the growth of the technology and life sciences industries in Maryland. By working together, we can help to drive innovation and promote the success of technology and life sciences companies in the state.

The ISSA also hosts local chapter meetings and events, allowing members to connect with their peers and participate in educational programs on a more personal level. These local events provide a unique opportunity for members to network, share their experiences and insights, and learn from one another.

In addition to its focus on education and professional development, the ISSA also works to promote ethical and professional standards in the information security industry. Through its code of ethics and professional conduct, the organization encourages members to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.

Furthermore, the ISSA collaborates with other organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions to further its mission of advancing the field of information security. These partnerships allow the organization to share expertise and resources, and to promote best practices and standards in the industry.
